Chocolate Milk gives you the luscious sounds of an analog signal chain with the ease of pouring a glass of milk. Use Chocolate Milk on anything, from individual channels to groups and the master, and get a fat, sparkling sound.
Recording “hot” into analog equipment causes saturation, which can add a pleasant, warm-sounding harmonic distortion to the signal. Chocolate Milk uses two different processing algorithms to get the thickness and crunch of an analog console channel on the lows, and the sheen and sparkle of analog tape compression on the highs.
But unlike an analog device, Chocolate Milk doesn’t process the midrange at all, so there’s no loss of punch caused by clipping, and no additional harmonic distortion to cloud up your mix.
Chocolate Milk's intuitive controls allow you to quickly bring out the vibe and flavor of anything you send through it. Use a little to sweeten a vocal, or overwhelm a drum track or bass with thunderous crunch.
Chocolate Milk is the color of analog... and it’s delicious!
Chocolate Milk has deceptively simple controls, but that doesn’t mean they’re not highly effective. You can get a wide range of effects out of Chocolate Milk to precisely fit your application.
Adjust the CROSSOVER frequencies to focus in on exactly the frequencies you want to enhance. Choose CLEAN to warm up the low-end of an entire mix, or DIRTY to add some grind and mojo to a bass or a drum set. Select between three corner frequencies to get exactly the high-end effect you’re looking for.
